Alagir Art Academy

Alagir Art Academy was founded on August 15, 2020, in Calgary, Canada, with the aim of discovering and developing the unique, multifaceted talents of children and teenagers. The owner of the Academy is internationally recognized artist Yuliya Alagir, a member of the Creative Union at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and the Federation of Canadian Artists. She is also the founder of the art direction "Mystery of the Sun" Сonceptual Symbolism in Contemporary Art.
The teaching method at the Academy is based on art coaching, which incorporates deep psychological techniques for developing creativity, emotional intelligence, and self-confidence. Special attention is given to the formation of individual creative abilities and self-expression through art, ensuring the harmonious development of both artistic and personal skills.
The curriculum covers various genres of visual art, including academic drawing, painting (oil, acrylic, watercolor), contemporary art (mixed media, creating relief drawings and painting textured surfaces, applique works), as well as decorative applied arts, including interior items, crafts, and interior design: drafting, interior sketching, and model making.
