In 2007, within the framework of the "Mystery of the Sun" art direction, Yuliya Alagir presented the project "Astrological Ages of the World," dedicated to sacred geometry—a system of knowledge connecting mathematical forms with spiritual and energetic principles. Sacred geometry was utilized in various ancient civilizations, such as Egypt, Mesopotamia, India, and Greece, where geometric figures symbolized divine aspects and cosmic laws. Ancient masters encoded their knowledge in formulas, diagrams, and symbols, transmitting them to future generations through architecture, art, and religious practices. For example, specific proportions and forms reflecting their views on the universe were applied in Egyptian pyramids and temples. In Indian culture, sacred geometry manifested in the creation of yantras and mandalas—geometric compositions used in meditation and rituals. Within the "Astrological Ages of the World" project, Yuliya Alagir presented genre graphics and paintings reflecting the iconic symbols of sacred geometry used in these cultures. The works demonstrated how signs, diagrams, and formulas of a philosophical nature were depicted and applied in the architecture, art, and religious practices of these civilizations. Yulia approaches this topic through her own perspective, processing and interpreting ancient symbols in a contemporary art context. In her interpretation, Yuliya Alagir aims to convey the idea that sacred geometry not only reflects mathematical patterns but also serves as a bridge between the material and spiritual worlds. She uses geometric forms and symbols to show how ancient knowledge, encoded in these structures, can be relevant and beneficial to modern individuals, helping them achieve harmony and understanding of their place in the universe.
