We asked parents of the current students of Alagir Art Academy to answer a few questions:
  1. What changes have you noticed in your child?
  2. What made you choose Alagir Art Academy?
  3. What can you say about Yuliya Alagir's teaching method?
  4. How do you see Yuliya Alagir?
  5. What does this first significant event in your child’s life mean to you—participating in a joint exhibition with an international artist, "Embraced by the Mystery of the Sun"?
After three years of studying at Alagir Art Academy, I believe it’s the right time to share my thoughts on my son's development in terms of creativity and character. Over this time, I’ve seen significant changes in him. My son, Rooslamir,  has become more confident, not only in his artistic skills but also in his everyday life. He has started to view the world in a different way, paying more attention to details and the process of creation, rather than focusing solely on the end result. His interest in art has deepened; whereas he used to be interested only in drawing with pencils, now he eagerly works with paints, textures, and various materials. He approaches each class as an opportunity to learn something new and exciting, rather than just trying to finish something.

With each passing year, I notice how my son has become more persistent and patient. He now willingly returns to unfinished work, even if it didn’t turn out as expected the first time. This approach opens up new horizons for him, not only in art but in life as well. He no longer fears making mistakes and instead views them as part of the process of improvement. As a mother, this is invaluable because I see him developing important qualities like perseverance and the ability to keep working without expecting immediate results.

Why did we choose Alagir Art Academy? We spent a lot of time looking for a place where my son could not only learn artistic techniques but also unlock his creative potential. The AAA turned out to be the perfect place, where each project is unique, using different materials and methods. What was most important to us was that my son could develop his individuality, not just follow a set pattern. We trust the Academy because we see how it inspires him. He goes there with enthusiasm and returns with new ideas and thoughts, ready for further exploration.

Yuliya Alagir's teaching method is truly unique. She doesn't just teach kids techniques; she helps them reveal their inner world. I love how she finds an individual approach for each child, which allows them to unlock their creative potential. Yuliya helps kids understand that art is not only about working with materials but also about self-expression. She teaches them that it’s important to accept mistakes and learn from them. I see how my son comes out of each class more confident in his abilities, and that’s definitely a result of Yuliya’s unique approach.

Yuliya Alagir is not only a professional artist but also a person with a bright charisma, able to inspire and energize children. I appreciate her ability to connect with kids, even those who are just starting their artistic journey. She always knows how to motivate, support, and inspire them, making them feel that they are on the right path.

For me as a mother, my son’s participation in the "Embraced by Mystery of the Sun" exhibition is a significant event marking a new stage in his creative journey. Although he doesn't fully understand the importance of this moment yet, I am sure that being part of an exhibition with an international artist will be a valuable step in his life. It’s not just an opportunity to showcase his work, but also a chance to see that his effort and creativity can be recognized, opening up new possibilities. While it may seem mysterious to him right now, I believe that in time, he will realize how this event has influenced his development and how it has opened new doors for him. I am proud that my son is part of this project, and I believe it will provide him with confidence and inspiration for future achievements.

I’m happy to share my appreciation and talk about how creatively my daughter, Jennifer, has been developing while studying at Alagir Art Academy. As a mom, I’ve noticed how she has become more confident, motivated, and inspired. The lessons at Alagir Art Academy have really helped unlock her creative potential. Jennifer is learning new techniques and developing her creative thinking. She enjoys going to class, thinks deeply, and comes up with ideas for new paintings. In the past, it was hard for her to express her thoughts through art, but now she confidently experiments with different materials and styles. I believe the art lessons at Alagir Art Academy are not just about drawing, but are a true journey into the world of creativity and self-expression, which has inspired her.

We consciously chose Alagir Art Academy. After reviewing the information online, I realized that this was a place where my teen would not only learn techniques but also grow as a person. And it turned out to be the right decision. We chose the Academy because we value a high level of teaching, professionalism, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. We were confident that Jennifer would not just learn art techniques but also be helped to find her own unique creative path. Yuliya Alagir is an internationally recognized artist with many years of experience, and I completely trust her teaching method and approach. This combination of professionalism, a unique approach, and genuine care for the students is what makes this place special.

Yuliya Alagir's teaching method is unique. She doesn’t just explain technical aspects; she also helps each student reveal their individuality. She knows how to create an environment where the children feel comfortable and confident, which allows them to develop creatively. Yuliya motivates her students, helps them not to be afraid of making mistakes, and encourages them to find their own style. Thanks to her approach, Jennifer looks forward to each class, knowing that every lesson is an opportunity to get better.

Yuliya Alagir is a person with incredible positive energy. She’s not just a teacher, but a true guide into the world of art. Her charisma and ability to inspire and support her students in any situation creates a unique atmosphere during the classes. She always finds the right approach to each student, earning their trust and respect. Her positive attitude and attention to detail help the children not only improve their skills but also believe in themselves. Uiliya enjoys joking and often shares interesting stories from her art career, which makes the lessons even more engaging.

Soon, there will be an exhibition called "Embraced by Mystery of the Sun," and this will be a huge event for Jennifer. For her, it’s a unique experience and a great source of inspiration. The opportunity to present her work at an exhibition with an internationally recognized artist is an important step in the right direction, and it fills me with pride and joy. As a mom, this confirms that my daughter is on the right path, growing both technically and spiritually. I’m sure this experience will leave a lasting impression on her life and encourage her future creative achievements.

We are very grateful to Alagir Art Academy for this opportunity, and we are deeply thankful to Yuliya Alagir for her hard work, talent, and love for children. She truly makes the world of art accessible and inspiring for every child!

                                                                                             ~Svitlana L.
Every Tuesday, despite being tired, my daughter, Nadin, eagerly awaits her studio classes. She has changed not only creatively—becoming bolder in experimenting with colors and exploring new compositional solutions—but also in character. Now, she is no longer afraid to make mistakes because she understands that every flaw is an opportunity to learn something new.

Beyond art, her approach to communication has also evolved: she has learned to express her opinions, support them with arguments, and view situations from different perspectives. This is especially valuable because the ability to analyze and find solutions is important not just in creativity but in life itself.
Our introduction to Yuliya happened unexpectedly—at a picnic. Even then, I was impressed by her energy, unconventional approach to life, and deep knowledge of psychology. I immediately realized that she was a teacher who could help my child think beyond conventional boundaries. The fact that Yuliya is a renowned artist with an international reputation only confirmed that we had made the right choice.
Yuliya doesn’t just provide children with academic knowledge; she teaches them to see the world differently. In her classes, children work with various materials, try out unconventional techniques, and learn to think in images rather than templates. Attention to detail is just as important here as the ability to perceive a painting as a whole.

What is particularly valuable is that the studio fosters a **creative community**, where every child feels significant, can express their opinions freely, and is not afraid to discuss any ideas. Thanks to Yuliya’s deep understanding of psychology, she often helps children navigate issues they might be hesitant to discuss even with their parents.

Yuliya is vibrant, charismatic, and full of endless energy. She has an incredible sense of humor—she can find something amusing in everyday things and present it in a way that makes you see the world differently. She is someone who knows how to inspire and support while remaining direct and honest. Yuliya teaches children to approach life with ease—not to dwell on problems but to see them as new opportunities. She is not just a teacher but a mentor, someone from whom one can learn not only art but also life itself.

This exhibition is the first major milestone in our children’s artistic journey. It is not just an opportunity to showcase their work but an experience that shapes their character. Here, children learn to accept critique, compare their progress with their peers, recognize their strengths, and understand what still needs improvement. For us as parents, this exhibition is a mix of pride, excitement, and joy. It is the moment when our children step onto the stage, make a statement about themselves, and take a step toward their dreams.                                                                                                                                                                                                  ~Aina
Since our daughter Masha started studying at Alagir Art Academy, we, as parents, have noticed that she has become much more confident in herself and her abilities. Masha shows greater motivation, especially in self-expression, because, during the learning process, Yuliya Alagir reveals many psychological aspects of mastering artistic skills and techniques. At the Academy, she is in an inspiring environment where her creativity is supported and nurtured. Mistakes are seen as an important stage of development, opening new opportunities for growth. Masha loves learning, and it's clear that this is not just an art class but a deep and multifaceted process. We are very happy with how she is growing and progressing in her artistic skills.

We chose Alagir Art Academy because we trust Yuliya Alagir’s professionalism. Her experience and international recognition in art, as well as her sincere dedication to the craft—where art is not just a profession but her entire life—played a key role in our decision. It is important to us that she is not only an artist and teacher but also an art coach who helps each student move forward. Additionally, we heard many positive reviews from parents whose children had already studied at the Academy, and our personal acquaintance with Yuliya only strengthened our confidence. Her individual approach, professionalism, and genuine care for her students made our choice obvious.

Yuliya Alagir’s teaching method is impressive! Thanks to her knowledge in art coaching, she not only teaches painting but also provides psychological support to teenagers, helping them build confidence and develop a healthy self-esteem. She combines classical and modern approaches in her teaching, allowing students not only to master technique but also to find their own artistic direction. She knows how to motivate, sharing stories about great artists, significant events, and success stories, inspiring students to create. Moreover, she always supports everyone with humor and warmth, fostering an atmosphere of respect and freedom of expression.

Yuliya Alagir is a bright and charismatic personality whose enthusiasm and energy inspire everyone around her. She is easy to recognize among artists—always covered in paint, with shining eyes and countless ideas. She genuinely rejoices in the successes of her students, always supporting and inspiring them. Her sense of humor makes lessons light and enjoyable, while her attentiveness to each student creates an atmosphere of trust.

When the opportunity to participate in the exhibition arose, we hesitated, wondering if Masha would be able to take part. But thanks to Yuliya’s encouragement, who confidently inspired her to try, our daughter gained her first serious experience. For us as parents, this is a very important and exciting event. Exhibiting alongside an internationally recognized artist is a recognition of her talent and a significant step in her creative journey. We are proud of Masha and believe that this experience will inspire her to continue developing in art. We will always support her!
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       ~ Tatiana B.
When Ekaterina first joined Alagir Art Academy, she had already experimented with acrylic painting, but her true passion and profound artistic growth emerged when she picked up watercolor. In this technique, she found a greater sense of freedom, expressing her emotions more precisely through color and shades. Under the guidance of Yuliya Alagir, Ekaterina created her first detailed watercolor piece—a still life featuring onions.

The subtle transitions, the transparency of layers, and the play of light inspired her so much that with each new painting, she strives to explore the possibilities of watercolor even further.  She is now trying her hand at landscapes, patiently studying the secrets of watercolor painting, experimenting with both dry and soft brushes, and searching for the balance between control and freedom in her brushstrokes. Watercolor has become not only a means of self-expression for her but also a tool for working with emotions. She is learning to convey moods through color, to sense color combinations, and to use them more boldly.

When Ekaterina first joined, she was timid and unsure of her abilities, but with each new artwork, her strokes grow bolder, and her contrasts become more pronounced. Colors help her open up, allowing herself greater expression and freedom. I can see how Ekaterina's time at Alagir Art Academy is transforming her. She is not just mastering techniques but also learning to see and feel art. Yuliya often has conversations with her students—explaining how an artist's brain works, how color influences emotions, and how art helps maintain emotional balance. After all, painting is not just a skill; it is a way to understand oneself and express the world through colors.

My child loves attending the academy—she gains not only new knowledge but also motivation for creativity. She has started painting more, and when she sees her progress, she becomes more confident in her abilities. We came to this studio based on a friend’s recommendation, and after the trial lesson, we immediately decided to continue. This is real learning: hand positioning, brush control, developing an individual style—not just copying. Yuliya is a teacher who does not impose her own vision but helps students unlock their potential. She guides rather than forces.

For both me and my daughter, participating in the exhibition is an important step. These are not just paintings; they are an entire world of imagination and self-expression that she can share with other talented people.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                ~ Tatiana
My daughter, Elita, has been attending Alagir Art Academy for almost two years now, and each class is not just a lesson for her—it’s a true source of inspiration. She always goes to her sessions with enthusiasm and a great mood because Yuliya Alagir’s academy is not just a place where children learn to draw. It’s a creative space where a child’s artistic potential is fully revealed, where they can see their talent from different perspectives by exploring various techniques.

Elita has been a creative child since early childhood—she has always loved drawing, crafting, and coming up with new ideas. It was important for me to find a teacher who would not only teach her technique but also help her flourish, engage her in the creative process, and show her that the boundaries of what’s possible are much wider than they seem. Yuliya Alagir has an incredible ability to connect with children—she attentively recognizes their strengths, helps them refine their skills, and gently guides them when something needs improvement.

Elita is also incredibly sociable and curious. As Yuliya shares, they often have fascinating conversations—not only about art but also about nature, sports, and animals. This interaction is just as valuable as the lessons themselves because it broadens perspectives and helps children see art from different angles. Elita enjoys analyzing her work, thinking out loud about which color would be best and which might be unnecessary. Yuliya often emphasizes the importance of developing creative thinking and color perception, and it makes me happy to see that my daughter views art not just as a skill but as an opportunity to think, experiment, question, and find her own path.

Additionally, Yuliya is always understanding and accommodating—if unforeseen circumstances arise, she does her best to find a way to reschedule lessons, which is something we deeply appreciate. We came to the academy based on a recommendation from friends, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision.

For us, Alagir Art Academy is Elita’s first serious opportunity to establish herself as an artist. Participating in the Embraced by Mystery of the Sun exhibition, organized by an internationally recognized artist, is not just an event—it’s a significant step in Elita’s artistic development. She feels that her creativity matters, that her work is worthy of attention. This is incredibly motivating, pushing her to strive for more and to refine what she has already mastered.

I am confident that this exhibition is not just about art—it’s about personal growth. Elita has become more focused, persistent, and responsible, but most importantly, she takes pride in what she is learning. Now, she excitedly shares her achievements with her friends and proudly invites them to the exhibition. And perhaps, she will inspire someone else to take their first steps into the world of art.                                                                                         ~Anastasia
Karina has loved drawing since childhood – as soon as she learned to hold a pencil, it was clear she had a real potential. From her earliest years, we sought out the right teachers for her and tried different classes. But by the time she was six, it became obvious that she needed something more – deeper knowledge and a true artistic environment.

We were lucky to discover Yuliya Alagir and her Alagir Art Academy. What immediately stood out was that this wasn’t just a regular “drawing club” but a full-fledged school where Yuliya selects students based on their potential and passion for art. She doesn’t just teach; she immerses children in various artistic directions, allowing them to experiment with different techniques. Most importantly, she instills in them the perseverance to keep going, even when something doesn’t work out right away.

Karina has always loved watercolor because she felt confident using it. But she wanted to give up on acrylics, thinking they weren’t for her. Without any pressure, Yuliya simply introduced her to this medium in a new way. And after some time, things started to click! Now, it no longer seems difficult, and she confidently works in different techniques. This has helped her tremendously in her art-inclined public school, where teachers often recognize her skills. This year, she even received an award, and one of her pieces won the school’s art competition.

To our surprise and delight, Karina’s participation in the Embraced by Mystery of the Sun exhibition became an exciting and meaningful event. We believe that the earlier a child gets the chance to present their work to the public, the deeper they understand their place in the art world. It’s important to us that Karina is discovering new horizons from a young age, learning not to fear exhibition spaces, understanding the value of her own work, and recognizing the level she can and should strive for. And, of course, seeing other children’s works and comparing herself to her peers is an invaluable experience. We are certain that being in such an environment inspires, motivates, and opens up new perspectives.

Karina is eagerly anticipating this exhibition, and we are just as excited for her. This is a wonderful opportunity for her to express herself as an artist, and for us, as parents, it’s an incredible pride to witness her achievements, her artwork, and her journey. We are immensely grateful to Yuliya Alagir for her talent as a teacher, her patience, and her incredible ability to bring out the best in children. We know for sure – Alagir Art Academy has become an essential part of our lives.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   ~Alona K
Katerina was one of the first students to join ALAGIR Art Academy over five years ago. Yuliya awakened her natural curiosity and nurtured her creativity by providing a space for artistic expression. Under Yuliya’s guidance, Katerina has explored various art techniques, including watercolor, gypsum plasterboard, mixed media, and acrylic painting.
Since joining ALAGIR Art Academy, I have seen remarkable growth in Katerina’s creative thinking and emotional intelligence. As a mother and a perfectionist myself, I am deeply aware of how the constant pursuit of perfection can sometimes discourage a teenager. Through her art lessons, my daughter has learned to appreciate the value of hard work and to stay motivated despite setbacks. Yuliya’s calm and encouraging approach helps her students navigate challenges, guiding them back to a positive mindset and inspiring them to persevere.
Yuliya motivates her students to focus on progress rather than perfection, encouraging them to explore new artistic methods—there is never a dull moment in the studio! Katerina’s participation in the upcoming exhibition with such a highly respected artist is a significant milestone for her artistic journey. I believe this event will open new doors for her growth and development.
What sets ALAGIR Art Academy apart is its individualized approach. Each student works on their own projects, with ideas generated by the child rather than imposed by the teacher. Yuliya supports and guides her students in their creative pursuits, carefully finding a personal approach for each one. Her unique insight and compassionate teaching style create an environment where students feel valued and inspired. Perhaps this is why Katerina enjoys her classes so much, no matter how she feels that day.
I am incredibly grateful for this studio and feel lucky to have been among its first students. Katerina once told Yuliya, "I wish I could enter your mind and learn everything inside." To me, this speaks volumes about how much her curiosity has grown and how inspired she feels at ALAGIR Art Academy.
In summary, we highly recommend ALAGIR Art Academy as a place where children can learn, grow, and develop their artistic potential in a supportive and inspiring environment.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   ~Maria K
My daughter Milena has become much more confident and bold in her creativity. Now, she sees art not just as a hobby but as an important part of her life—perhaps even her future. I can see how motivated and determined she is when she works, how carefully she pays attention to details, and how deeply she immerses herself in the creative process. But most importantly, she wants to keep going, try new things, and grow! This is incredibly valuable, and we are so happy to have found a place like Alagir Art Academy for her.
In her lessons, Yuliya Alagir helps Milena develop her skills in acrylic painting and decorative mixed-media techniques. My daughter loves to travel and expresses her love for family through painting. She has already created a series of artworks with a marine theme—ocean, tropics, waves. Landscapes, in particular, inspire her the most and feel closest to her heart.
One of the most touching projects for us was a mini modular mural  Milena created for her father under Yuliya Alagir’s guidance. She wanted to inspire him and remind him how important it is to find time for things that truly bring joy. It was her personal message, and I believe that moments like these make art truly alive and meaningful.
We chose Alagir Art Academy because we see how Yuliya Alagir helps children not only master techniques but also understand how their talent can become part of their future. These are not just painting lessons—they are a whole journey.
Yuliya explains to the children (and to us, parents!) how important it is to build a portfolio, participate in exhibitions and competitions, and recognize the value of artistic achievements. She gives children the confidence that their creativity is something meaningful. And it truly is!
For Milena, taking part in the upcoming exhibition will be a huge step forward. She will see that her work can be noticed and that her efforts matter. We are so proud of her and grateful to Alagir Art Academy for the support and inspiration!
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            ~Ludmila

My daughter Anastasia’s classes at Alagir Art Academy have become a very important part of her life. The teenage years can be tough—it’s not always easy to understand yourself or express your feelings in words. Painting has helped her share her emotions, understand herself better, and learn new skills. Every artwork she creates—whether it’s an abstract piece, a portrait, or a landscape—shows her inner world. Through art, she is learning to accept and process her feelings. We have seen her grow more confident with each lesson. She notices how her skills improve, and people around her support and encourage her. This makes her excited to try new things, develop her own style, and look for creative ideas. Art has also become a way for her to relax, deal with stress, and find inspiration.

We chose Alagir Art Academy after learning about Yuliya Alagir. Her experience and reputation in the art world were important to us. But what mattered even more was that the academy helps each student grow in their own way. It’s not just about learning techniques—it’s about helping children find their own style and believe in themselves.
What we love about Yuliya is her special way of looking at art. Her paintings bring out strong emotions and make you think or feel something personal. She uses unique colors, materials, and textures to create mood. This inspires her students—not just to copy what they see, but to express their own thoughts and feelings through art. There are no strict rules in her lessons. Every student follows their own path, and Yuliya supports and guides them.
Anastasia tries different techniques, like watercolor, acrylic, textured painting, and mixed media. The academy combines traditional teaching with modern methods. One thing she especially enjoys is making Christmas decorations before the New Year. She always brings home her handmade decorations, filling our house with holiday spirit. Through this, she shows love and care, and we are happy to see her sharing her creativity with us.

Taking part in an art exhibition will be a big moment for her. She is very excited to present her work, and it will be important for her to see what she has achieved. She will also receive feedback not only from family but from experts and other artists. Thanks to Yuliya’s support, she is learning to share her inner world through her art and enjoy the creative process. Of course, winning awards and getting recognition at exhibitions can be a big motivation to keep improving. We are very grateful for the wonderful opportunities Alagir Art Academy is giving Anastasia. We hope that being part of this project will not only be a great experience for her but also inspire her to reach new heights.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             ~ Marianna

We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s experience at the Alagir Art Academy! When Daria first started drawing, it was something she enjoyed, but now her artwork has truly blossomed. One of our favourite pieces is a mini-mural she created in collaboration with Yuliya Alagir, which now proudly hangs in our entertainment room. Every guest who visits notices it, and we love saying, “Our daughter was co-creator of that art piece! We’re so proud of her elaborate art skills!”

So, why did we choose the Alagir Art Academy? Because Yuliya doesn’t just teach kids how to draw — she helps them discover their unique artistic style. Daria has been enjoying the art classes for many years now, and I’ve noticed that she’s become more confident in both her artistic skills and her everyday decisions. Even when Daria has to miss an art class for her gymnastics competitions, she always ensures she catches up on the material she missed.

Yuliya is such an inspiring teacher! She explains everything in a simple, engaging way that sparks creativity. When our daughter became fascinated with horses, Yuliya helped her create a painting for the stable where she rode. Now, that painting hangs there proudly, and it always gets such a warm reaction from everyone who sees it.

Daria now dreams of becoming an architect and interior designer, and Yuliya has even started teaching her the basics of technical drawing. She’s now sketching rooms and houses, alongside landscapes, and it’s been a joy to watch her skills develop.

When Daria was invited to exhibit her work at the “Embraced by the Mystery of the Sun” show, we were beyond moved. Seeing her painting displayed alongside professional artists was such a heartwarming experience.

We’re so grateful to have found the Alagir Art Academy. It’s not just about learning to draw — it’s about nurturing dreams. In the evenings, our whole family loves looking through her new drawings, and her friends often ask to see our little “home gallery.”
If you want your child to fall in love with art and unlock their true creative potential, we wholeheartedly recommend the Alagir Art Academy and Yuliya Alagir!

I love watching Daniel express himself through various art projects. For him, the Alagir Art Academy is a safe space where he can truly be himself. Art classes give him hands-on experience that boosts his confidence and sparks his curiosity.
Daniel's ability to find beauty in little things has made him an observant and creative artist. When he was working on Apple Summer, he paid close attention to color variations, highlights, and the shapes of the fruits. He wanted to create a painting that was both vibrant and unique. He was persistent, practicing diligently, and refining every detail with each brushstroke.
Daniel is also practicing painting trees, rocks, fish, and fruit at home. He starts with a sketch and slowly fills it in with paint, carefully building up details with every stroke. He enjoys using acrylic paint and watercolor.
I truly appreciate Alagir's support, patience, and adaptability during this time. Her guidance helped Daniel complete his artwork and explore new artistic techniques.
The individual approach at AAA aligns with my vision of the creative process. I firmly believe that such a perspective encourages children to pursue their interests and passions.
Alagir is a dedicated art teacher with rich professional experience and an incredible ability to inspire her students. I admire her talent and enthusiasm.
I'm very excited that Daniel's artwork will be displayed in the Embraced by Mystery of the Sun exhibition. I look forward to seeing his masterpieces and celebrating this milestone in his incredible artistic journey.

Vika has been drawn to creativity since early childhood. She was always curious—always inventing, drawing, imagining. When we moved to Poland, she unexpectedly developed an interest in performing—she began studying acting and later took part as an extra in Polish TV series like Pierwsza Miłość and Erynie. It was an exciting experience for her: to feel the atmosphere of a film set, to take a peek behind the scenes of the movie world. And yet, she was always pulled back to visual creativity—to drawing, to the images that came from within.

After we moved to Canada, I started looking for a place where Vika could continue to grow creatively. That’s how we discovered Yuliya Alagir’s Art Academy. I was immediately drawn to the fact that the teacher was an internationally active artist with years of experience—and at the same time, had such a warm and attentive approach to working with children. After just a few lessons, it became clear—we had found the right place. The studio has a truly special atmosphere: paintings everywhere, the smell of paint in the air, a gentle creative buzz—just like a real workshop. Vika felt at home right away.

Since she began studying with Yuliya, I’ve seen Vika become more focused, more inspired, and more curious. She's more confident now, more often takes initiative, and loves to share her ideas. She's currently exploring acrylics—something new for her—but she's already showing good results. One piece in particular, her painting of a pomegranate, turned out beautifully—so rich, so vibrant, it practically glows! After her classes, she continues to paint at home with joy. It’s been such a pleasure to watch her grow and become more intentional with her art. I love sharing her work on social media, and both her dad and I are truly proud of every step she takes forward.

Yuliya is a remarkable teacher. She has a gift for sensing each child’s personality—knowing how to guide and support them. The Academy feels cozy and peaceful, yet everything is well-organized. The children learn discipline and focus—but without pressure. This balance really suits Vika: she feels free, and at the same time, she's learning to go deeper, to pay closer attention. Just recently, she asked Yuliya if she could try Japanese watercolor—something that took us by surprise, but we're excited to see where it leads. I’m sure we’ll be seeing those new works very soon.

Right now, Vika is preparing to take part in the exhibition “Embraced by the Mystery of the Sun”, where her painting will be shown alongside works by Yuliya and other Academy students. This is a big moment for her—a chance to share her voice and feel like a part of something real, something meaningful. These kinds of experiences shape a child, helping them feel the value of their path.

It has been three years since my daughter, Daria, began her studies at Alagir Art Academy. Over these past three years, I have noticed significant growth in my daughter's artistic abilities and overall confidence. Previously, my daughter had a basic understanding of colors and painting techniques, but now her understanding of colors, composition, and techniques has significantly improved. She has not only become more patient but also more detail-oriented, not just in art but also in life. Painting has helped her express her emotions more deeply and taught her to see the world with a heightened appreciation for beauty and composition. My daughter has learned to focus on details throughout the painting process, rather than just the end result.
After observing my daughter's passion for art for many years, I decided to look for a place where her talent could be nurtured and where she could expand her knowledge of art techniques. Alagir Art Academy proved to be the perfect place, where art is not limited to painting and drawing. There, my daughter learned that there are many ways to express her artistic abilities, and that she does not have to follow strict instructions but rather develop her individuality. She has developed a more creative mind, returns home with new ideas, and is always eager to explore new things.
Yuliya Alagir's teaching method is truly unique. She doesn't teach each student the exact same thing but instead encourages each child to express themselves, finding a unique approach for every student. Yuliya helps children understand that art is not about following strict rules but about self-expression. She teaches them that it's okay to make mistakes and that imperfections can make art unique. Every time my daughter makes a mistake, Yuliya reassures her that it's a natural part of the process, which has helped her look forward to the next class.
Yuliya Alagir is not only an experienced, gifted artist but also an amazing teacher. She helps each student reach their full potential and assists them in honing what they do best. Her guidance has not only improved my daughter's art but also shaped her perspective on the world, making her more patient and thoughtful. I see Yuliya Alagir as a truly magnificent teacher, who has dedicated her whole life to what she loves and is now inspiring others to see the beauty of art, giving it a whole new definition.
My daughter's participation in the joint exhibition “Embraced by the Mystery of the Sun” has brought me immense pride. Seeing my daughter grow into a skilled artist fills me with joy, especially remembering how, when she first started, she lacked confidence in her abilities. Every time I pick her up from class, I see her progress, a profound realization that her art has value beyond my initial understanding and her own personal satisfaction. She is both excited and nervous to share her work publicly, but this experience has motivated her to keep improving. Watching her artistic journey unfold has made me appreciate the power of art and its ability to connect with people on an emotional level.
